Today’s students think, work and relate to each other in a digital environment as natives. They’re ready for the disruptive changes of the (not too distant) future, due to their disruptive growth: from tape to streaming, from books to virtual campus, from phone to Skype, from off to online, and so on…
This has defined its character leading him to develop the following characteristics:
a) Impressionable. Cares about the comments/reviews of the people in his environment.
b) Rational. Studies and compares options and is seldom impulsive
c) Vindicative. Is aware of his rights (and won’t hesitate to claim them if necessary).
d) True to their convictions. Search brands/products with their own ideas, according to their life philosophy.
e) Informed. Knows what he looks and before choosing is informed of the options that are on the market.
f) High-education level. Is a well-trained, cultured user who is not fooled.
g) Maverick. Is not seduced by the first option but compares and looks for what best fits their needs.
h) Immediacy seeker. Looks for quickness when it comes to get an answer or acquire products/services.
It should, therefore, be borne in mind these characteristics when approaching this collective. In next posts, I will try to analyze how to make that approach.
For the moment, be quick, be honest, be remarkable…or die trying. Good luck!
